Be who you are.
We welcome all youth. Athletes. Musicians. Actors. Advanced Placement. Any placement. College-bound. Vocational school-bound. People of color. LGBTQIA. Extroverts. Introverts. Nerds. Geeks. Cool kids. And many others. This is a place where you can be you; you don't have to check your brain, your heart, your emotions, or any part of yourself at the door.
Belong to a faith community.
In a social-media driven world, it can be hard to know where you belong. This is a safe space where we can be together, especially when together means different opinions, different backgrounds, and different lifestyles, and also forgiveness, mercy, and grace. Here, you are loved.
Become who God made you to be.
Young people today can feel pulled in a million directions. Everyone has an opinion about who you should be, what you should do with your life, where you should go to college, what you should wear, and what music you should listen to. The Old Testament prophet Elijah got that, too. After delivering an amazing defeat to the prophets of the false god Ba'al he was done. He ran away. But God took care of him: fed him in the dessert and took him to a quiet place. There, God was a still, small voice that helped him take the next faithful step in his life. We offer you a place to explore the big questions of life: Who am I? Where do I fit? What difference do I make?
